Steps
Step 1.
Either while Creating a Task or in the Integrations menu.
Enter the name of the integration in the search bar.
Step 2.
Enter the Name of the Integration.
You can optionally also enter a description.
Step 3.
You will be prompted for the Webhook URL and Username.
Step 4.
Click on this link to continue the integration : https://my.slack.com/services/new/incoming-webhook .
Now, you can select the existing slack channel or create a new channel by selecting the option ‘create a new channel’. Then click ‘Add incoming webhooks integration’.
Copy the webhook URL to SyncSpider. Click save.
You will receive a message in your slack channel selected as ‘incoming webhooks’ which is the default message.

You can also customize the message by following the steps mentioned :
- On the Slack-Webhooks integration screen, you will see the Webhook URL along with various fields as you scroll down.
- As you scroll down, you will see the ‘Integration settings’ where changing the ‘customize name’ would post the message you want.
