1) Setting up the Integration


Pivotal Tracker is a project management app for teams that build software. Through its design, Pivotal Tracker encourages developers to think about the people who use the product they create.

Pivotal Tracker Entities:

Source: Get Projects, Accounts, Project Memberships, Project Labels, Project Stories, Story Tasks, Story Blockers, Project Epics, Workspaces and Project Releases.

Target: Add Project, Story to Project, Membership to Account, Label to Project, Membership to Project, Task to Story, Blocker to Story, Epic to Story and Workspace.

1) Setting up the Integration

Here is how to integrate Pivotal Tracker in a few easy steps:

  1. Once logged in, in your dashboard, on the left side you'll see "Integrations" tab, click on this:

  2. Type "Pivotal Tracker" in the Integrations search bar:

    P.S. You can add new integration while Creating a task as well.

  3. Click on Pivotal Tracker:

  4. In the following window, name your integrations, give it a description and click next:

    Next up we need the API Token from Pivotal Tracker:

    To find the API key go to your Pivotal Tracker Dashboard and in the top right corner click on your name:

    Then click on "Profile"

    Under "API Token" click on "Create new token"

    Simply copy the API token and paste it to SyncSpider

  5. When the API Token has been pasted to SyncSpider click on "Finish" and PivotalTracker is integrated successfully!
