Capturing the Webhook response

In another tab or window log in to Cognito Forms and select a form. Select the Submission Settings section from the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

Then click Post JSON Data to a Website.

Posting Json Data to a Website

Select the first action (New Entry).

In this case, we are showing you how to connect and integrate "New Reply" data. The process is absolutely the same for  "Edited Reply" data.

So, if you need to integrate "Edited Reply" data, just do the same process, but select the "Edited Reply" data.

Paste your Webhook URL into the input field of the first event (Submit Entry Endpoint).

Turn on "Post JSON Data to a Website" if disabled and Save changes.

Configuring the Webhook URL

Fill out and send a new entry for the form. Go back to SyncSpider to verify that your webhook response has been successfully captured.

This will be indicated through text appearing in the setup window.

Generating the Webhook response

Perform Steps 4-7 for the Edited Reply pasting the URL on Cognito Forms into the Update Entry Endpoint input field and testing by editing an existing response.

Verify new webhook response in SyncSpider.

Finish/Save your new integration.
