## Description

## Steps

### Step 1.

Either while **Creating a Task** or in the Integrations menu.

Enter the name of the integration in the search bar.

### Step 2.

Enter the Name of the Integration.

You can optionally also enter a description.

### Step 3.

You will be prompted for the Webhook URL and Username.

### Step 4.
Click on this link to continue the integration : [https://my.slack.com/services/new/incoming-webhook](https://kaitsta.slack.com/apps/new/A0F7XDUAZ-incoming-webhooks) .

Now, you can select the existing slack channel or create a new channel by selecting the option ‘**create a new channel**’. Then click ‘**Add incoming webhooks integration**’.

Copy the webhook URL to SyncSpider. Click **save**.

You will receive a message in your slack channel selected as ‘**incoming webhooks**’ which is the default message.

**Or**

You can also customize the message by following the steps mentioned :

* On the Slack-Webhooks integration screen, you will see the Webhook URL along with various fields as you scroll down.
* As you scroll down, you will see the ‘**Integration settings**’ where changing the ‘**customize name**’ would post the message you want.
