Webhooks are one of the methods in which apps can send automated messages / data to other apps.

Here, we will set up the process of how webhooks can be used to grab data from Aida forms.

Step 1:

First, login to your SyncSpider account, click on ‘Projects’ located at the left side, as shown below and then click on 'create a new task'.

Step 2:

In the add new integration, select Webhooks, enter the integration name and description. Click Next.

Now you will need the website URL, which you can get from Aidaforms to connect to SyncSpider.

Step 3:

Login to your Aidaforms account and go to the form you need details from and click on ‘publish’, copy the link and paste it to SyncSpider as shown below. Click Finish.

With this, the part-1 of the process is completed.

Step 4:

Click next and select the target integration, which is the Google Sheet. Now, click Next.

Step 5:

The ‘Configuration WebHook URL’ is displayed.

Go to your Aida forms account and click on Setup → 3rd party integrations → Webhooks as shown below.

Step 6:

Copy the Configuration WebHook URL from SyncSpider to Aidaforms and click create as shown below.

Step 7:

Copy this link and open it in a new tab. We will test the data whether it is coming to SyncSpider or not.

Enter the details and click submit.

Step 8:

Reload the SyncSpider screen and you will be able to see the details on your screen. Select ‘Root’ as source and the webhook URL gets generated as shown below. Click next.

Step 9:

Now, login to your Aida forms account, copy the webhook URL and paste it to your Aidaforms→ Set-Up→ 3rd party integrations→ Webhooks. Click Update.

Now, the integration with Aida forms is ready with SyncSpider.

Step 10:

We will configure the target now.

Now upload the file that with the details, change the name of the output file, select 'append to existing file' and add the columns as shown below. Click Next.

Step 11:

Now, we will map the details.

But the information is not visible as it should be which means that something is missing. This happens because there are too many layers in the source integration.

Thus, we will select the value field which has the first name and last name and give a label to it. E.g Leads Data.

Click Next to continue mapping.

Step 12:

Drag the fields in the Leads data section - first name, last name and fields column value (email id).

Now click preview values (right side) to see the preview of the field values.

Step 13:

The first and last name appear as they should be but the email id is not appearing as it should.

To make it right we will click configure near the email field as shown below.

Step 14:

In ‘which item to take’ column, select ‘take last’ and refresh it. The email id is now visible. Click done.

Thus, the data is now being grabbed from Aida forms as required.
